Consult PCB Assembly
This is the voltage regulator. It basically takes the 12v from the consult port of the
car and regulates it down to 5v that the actual components want to see. Note that the "flat"
side of this component should face away from the board. When in doubt of which way to insert
this component, look at the pics of my assembled board in the pics section of
Zcontrol.net. You will also need to
bend this component over slightly once soldered in so it is even with the RJ45 connector.
